Let’s make lemonade out of lemons. I’m sure we’ve all heard that before, right? I know that for many of us, these past couple of months have felt like we’ve only been dealing with lemons, and sometimes it’s hard to imagine making something good out of something so sour. James 1:2-4 encourages us to find joy in the lemons: |
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (NIV) |
As states are beginning to loosen up restrictions, I pray that you are looking at the challenges you’ve faced as a church and are coming out on the other side with new ideas, a fresh start, and even new believers as a part of your congregation. At FellowshipOne and Ministry Brands, we haven’t stopped looking forward. We too have faced many trials over the last few months. However, our future looks bright because we are intentionally taking what we’re learning and acting on it. You may have heard that we are working on a couple of things that we’re on the verge of sharing with you. Something that you’ve been asking for and something that we truly believe will make a big difference in your ministry. We’re making some our lemons into lemonade. Be on the lookout because we’ll be dropping hints, sending emails, and reaching out in other ways to let you know what’s next. It’s my honor to partner with you in ministry through the software we provide. Press On, Scott Goodger General Manager, FellowshipOne |
